Walk
Walk For A Purpose is for all ages and all fitness levels. It is not a race or timed-event. It is an expression of support and compassion to help us ALL live longer, healthier lives in a world without breast cancer. Choose from one of our in-person community walks or opt for the month-long virtual option.
- VIRTUAL: Walk anytime…anyplace…at your pace throughout the month of October.
- IN-PERSON OPTION: Join one of our community walks.
Fees & Perks
- Survivors: Your registration fee includes a complimentary Survivor t-shirt
- Walkers: To keep our fees super-low, your registration fee does not include a t-shirt. However, we encourage you to add an official 2026 Walk for a Purpose t-shirt to your registration for just $20. Kid sized shirts available too! Let's walk together and dress together to show our united support!
- When you purchase a t-shirt, look for additional fun swag to arrive in your PINK package.
- Refreshments & water (at the community walks)
Start or Join a Team
Walking is even more meaningful when you do it side by side. Rally around a friend currently in treatment, join together with your co-workers, gather your family in memory of a loved one, form a group from church or the neighborhood...the options are endless! Pick a creative team name and cheer each other on.

Why Walk For A Purpose
We’re a community of walkers, survivors, families, friends, businesses, and volunteers who believe that every person affected by breast cancer matters. Because we’re small, we know the power of personal stories, personal connections, and personal acts of kindness. And when we come together, those small acts become something much bigger—raising meaningful support, creating awareness, offering hope, and reminding people they don’t have to walk this journey alone.
